It is designed to provide students with an understanding of, and ability to manage, the diverse array of activities necessary to effectively manage sporting events. This includes the financial components of event management, the ability to plan, implement and present sporting events, and the ability to effectively integrate and satisfy the needs of external stakeholders such as sponsors, media, community, and guests.
