Honours courses

Progression to honours

Students with good results, including very good results in the relevant specialisation, have the option of proceeding to a fourth year honours program. The Bachelor of Business (Honours) program at Caulfield offers studies for all the Bachelor of Business specialisations except for accounting, finance, economics and econometrics.

Honours in accounting, finance, econometrics and in economics are offered through the Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) or the Bachelor of Economics (Honours) programs on the Clayton campus. Students wishing to enrol in either of these honours programs in economics are required to complete with very good grades the economics major and the two units ECC2000 (Intermediate microeconomics) and ECC2010 (Intermediate macroeconomics). These two units may be taken as electives within the Bachelor of Business. Students who are considering an honours program should consult the details for these courses elsewhere in this handbook.
