Course description

This course is designed to build the skills necessary to teach law and law-related subjects at the tertiary level and is particularly suitable for law and business/commerce academics teaching law subjects.

Developed specifically for professionals who are involved in law teaching, it is equally beneficial for those just starting off in a law teaching career or those who are currently working in the field and wishing to update their professional knowledge base and skills.

Course structure

Students must complete the following four units, each worth 6 credit points, in the prescribed sequence:

  • LAW7287 Turning theory into practice
  • LAW7288 Tradition in law teaching
  • LAW7289 Evaluation and assessment
  • LAW7290 Negotiated project
