Gippsland Second semester 2006 (OCL)
Synopsis: Project management for small to medium enterprises introduces the essential concepts, tools and techniques relevant to project management. The unit content covers the broad perspectives of managerial skills and knowledge required to initiate, implement, and evaluate successful projects. These perspectives include strategic planning, financial control, human resource management, and project evaluation. Throughout the unit, the application of relevant information technology and the pursuit of quality outcomes underpin and reinforce these perspectives.
Assessment: As for MGW1700. Students are required to demonstrate a higher level of knowledge. This will be shown in different written work and a separate examination
Contact Hours: Equivalent to 39 contact hours per semester. Study is online and by flexible delivery.
