Clayton Second semester 2006 (Day)
Synopsis: A guided study of non-literary and literary texts, audio-visual material and oral and written exercises.
Objectives: Upon completion of this subject students should have further developed their basic Hebrew grammatical, syntactic and idiomatic skills both in the written and oral spheres, building on part A of the subject. They should also continue to gain insight into the Jewish cultural background and heritage.
Assessment: Written assignments (2500 words): 50% Written examination (2000 words): 50%
Contact Hours: 4 hours (3 x 1 hour lectures and 1 x 1 hour tutorial) per week
Prerequisites: JWC1000 or its equivalent
