Synopsis: The aim of this unit is to provide students with an opportunity to thoroughly understand and appreciate the issues involved in mobile applications development for resource limited devices. This unit also aims to provide students with detailed knowledge and hands-on experience with current tools and techniques for mobile applications development. These skills are required for students to be able to specify, design, and implement applications for PDA's, smart phones, communicators, and other handheld devices.
Assessment: Practical work: 40%, Exam: 60%.
