Clayton Second semester 2006 (OCL)
Synopsis: The subject exposes the student to the fundamentals of the three components to the traffic system: the vehicle, the driver and the road environment. The emphasis is on the application of theory to practice in solving traffic related problems. The subject covers the road traffic system, traffic networks, traffic design elements, intersection design and control and analytic techniques.
Assessment: Examination (3 hours): 50% + Assignment: 50%. Students must pass both components.
