Clayton First semester 2006 (Day)
Synopsis: Examines the performance, impacts and costs of various urban passenger transport modes and the factors influencing the level, pattern and trends in urban travel demand and the issues relevant to selecting a mode for a particular urban passenger transport task. The role of the analytic methods used in transport planning is examined as are the factors to be considered in conducting transport surveys including sample design, questionnaire design and survey administration.
Assessment: Examinations: 50% + Assignments: 50%

Prerequisites: CIV2281
