Clayton Second semester 2006 (Day)
Synopsis: Introduce fundamentals and role of road engineering theory and practice. Examine a number of issues related to the planning, design and construction of roads, including: road planning, the road traffic environment, design and rehabilitation, geotechnical issues related to pavement performance, pavement drainage, road construction and road environmental safety.
Assessment: Examination: 50% + Project design: 50% + Students must pass both components
