Clayton First semester 2006 (Day)
Synopsis: Process modelling for control purposes; tuning and design of conventional control systems for multivariable processes; limitations of 'conventional' control systems and introduction to advanced control; overview of computer based process control systems and methods.
Assessment: Examinations: 80% + Assignments: 20%
