The discipline

The major sequence in environmental science and resource management explores the scientific basis for management of natural resources and environmental problems. There is a focus on conservation, biodiversity, natural area management and the sustainable use of resources such as air, soil, water and energy.

Sequence requirements

Minor sequence in environmental science and resource management (24 points):

• ENV1711 and ENV1722, and
• Any two of ENV2726, ENV2747, ENV2757, ENV3656, ENV3726, ENV3639, ENV3647, ENV3737, ENV3761 and GES3820

Major sequence in environmental science and resource management (48 points):

• ENV1711 and ENV1722, and
• At least 36 points from levels two and three with a minimum of 18 points at level three. Units may be taken from ENV2726, ENV2747, ENV2757, ENV3737, ENV3639, ENV3647, ENV3656, ENV3726 , ENV3761 or GES3820
