Units indexed by faculty Master of Rural HealthCourse code: 1854 + Course abbreviation: MRuralHlth + Total credit points required: 72 + 8 semesters part-time Study mode and course locationOff-campus (Gippsland) Course descriptionThis course, offered by the School of Rural Health, aims to prepare rural health care practitioners for positions of leadership and research, clinical practice, teaching and management, and enhance career options of rural health care practitioners from various disciplines. Entry requirementsCandidates are selected on the basis of academic and professional merit. Special consideration is given to candidates who hold current registration in a relevant health discipline and who are working in rural areas or are preparing for a career in rural practice. Candidates must have a minimum of a pass bachelors degree or a qualification deemed equivalent and a minimum period of one year’s relevant clinical experience. Applicants who have completed the Graduate Diploma in Rural Health may articulate into the masters program.
