Course description

This course is designed for professionals working in a range of human service and corporate sector organisations who wish to gain an all-purpose organisational qualification in mentoring and coaching. This program is offered as part of the suite of work, learning and leadership programs offered by the Faculty of Education.

Entry requirements

To be eligible for admission, applicants must hold either:

  • an approved three-year bachelors degree in a relevant field with a credit average in the final year, or
  • an approved three-year bachelors degree (or equivalent) and a fourth year of study, or
  • an approved four-year bachelors degree, or
  • qualifications or experience considered by the faculty board to be equivalent to, or a satisfactory substitute for, the above awards.

Negotiations for formal articulation arrangements may include provision for the admission of enrolment cohorts with ‘equivalent’ qualifications or experience. Students admitted under this provision are likely to possess a number of workplace-based training qualifications.

Students are required to successfully complete 24 points, comprising two 12-point units (consisting of two core units):
