Synopsis: This unit prepares students to undertake extended research within the broad interdisciplinary area of feminist scholarship. It will pose a range of questions, such as: What is feminist epistemology? What makes research feminist? Are there specific feminist research methods? How, as researchers, do we deal with the ethical questions and political nature of feminist research? The unit explores differing practical modes of feminist research as students develop and document their own research projects.
