Synopsis: The development of assessment and planning skills and related issues of practice.

Objectives: To enable students to develop beginning competence in assessment of and intervention into clients problems.

Assessment: Practicum evaluation including 7000 words of written work: 80% + Role play: 10% + Written work (1000 words): 10%

Contact Hours: 2 hours per week skills practice workshops and seminars plus 14 weeks full time practicum

Prerequisites: SWK3240. Social work units are only available within the context of the Bachelor of Social Work degree, or with permission.
