Synopsis: Two approved semester-length subjects at a foreign institution.

Objectives: Upon successful completion of this unit students will be able to: 1. Complete successfully the requirements for the unit taken abroad. 2. Carry out semi-independent research in a Spanish speaking country. 3. Interact effectively with native speakers.

Assessment: Students will need to bring back all written work for assessment (equivalent to 6000 words) and comply with departmental assessment work (equivalent to 3000 words).
