Synopsis: Students will undertake study in a Spanish-speaking university with which Monash University has an exchange agreement. That study will be the equivalent of 12 points of study in Arts at Monash in the form of one semester at third-year in the area of Hispanic Studies to be approved by the Study Abroad committee of the Hispanic Studies Program.

Objectives: On completion of this subject students should have improved the four linguistic skills of the language. They should have learnt how to interact successfully taking into account the value and norm system of the country they have been living in. Students should have achieved the objectives and satisfied the requirements of the subject taken abroad. They should have expanded their understanding and knowledge of Hispanic/Spanish culture.

Assessment: As prescribed by host institution.

Prerequisites: Students should have successfully completed: SPN2010, SPN2290, SPN2130 or special permission for the subject co-ordinator
