Synopsis: This unit provides students with the skills to access and manipulate large data bases that are used by government departments and private companies for policy and planning processes. In this 'Key Issues' component of the course, students will examine how important social issues like income inequality can be explored through these databases.
Assessment: Two essays (4500 words each): 100%
