Synopsis: Concepts and practice of safety management within the work environment. Covering accident theories, investigation, reporting and statistics. Safety systems, fire prevention and control, and safety audits. Reference to the causes and prevention of specific accident types, including slips, trips and falls, electrocution and mobile machinery.
Assessment: On-line group discussions + Multiple-choice + Examination + Assignments
Off-campus attendance requirements: 15 contact hours over 3 days
