Synopsis: This unit allows students to broaden and extend an area of study and apply knowledge and skills gained throughout their course, to the conduct of a substantive piece of research in a business area of special interest to them within their field of specialisation.
Objectives: At the completion of the unit the students will be able to apply knowledge concepts, tools and techniques acquired in other subjects to the: preparation of proposal for the conduct of a research project conduct of a research project analysis and reporting of research findings framing of recommendations
Assessment: Dissertation report (5000 words): 100%
Contact Hours: Six (6) hours per week if study is spread over two semesters or twelve (12) hours per week if the unit is to be completed in one semester.
Prerequisites: Eight graduate marketing units
