Caulfield Second semester 2005 (Day)
Synopsis: Graphical and multivariate data analysis techniques to communicate information derived from large scale survey data. Desktop and mainframe information technology is integrated to analyse data from various surveys. Teaching strategies include weekly workshop sessions dealing with the principles of data analysis; practical computer laboratory sessions; individual and team-based exercises.
Assessment: Individual assignment (2000 words): 20% + Individual assignment (2000 words): 20% + Individual assignment (2000 words): 20% + Examination (2 hours): 40%
