Synopsis: Management theory related to varying cultures. The multinational business enterprise and the significance of cross-cultural variables in the business environment. Topics covered include ethics and social responsibilities; strategic mindsets, control and conflict; industrial relations, new forms of international work and organisation and their management implications.

Assessment: Individual assignment (3500 words): 40% + Group assignment (2500 words): 20% + Examination (2 hours): 40%

Contact Hours: One 1.5-hour lecture and One 1.5-hour tutorial
