Clayton Second semester 2005 (Day)
Synopsis: This unit follows MGC2110 and considers the practical applications of strategic management concepts and theories. Students are required to apply critical thinking and research skills to strategic problem solving in contemporary Australian cases. The emphasis is on analysis and judgement to identify strategic issues, evaluate options and recommend action.
Assessment: Assignment (2000 words): 20% + Group presentations: 20% + Examination (3 hours):60%
Contact Hours: 2-hour lecture per week and 1-hour tutorial per week
Prerequisites: MGC2110 or permission
