Synopsis: All students are required to undertake one six-week elective placement. Students devise an individual program that can be undertaken after Faculty approval has be granted. This may include another health care environment including experience in other countries, or an opportunity to spend more time in an area of particular interest to the student.
Objectives: To provide students with an opportunity to pursue studies in an area of interest, either to broaden or deepen their knowledge and skills in a variety of community, health and medicine related fields.
Assessment: Written report of elective to Faculty + Specific assessment tasks as determined by elective supervisor + Pass grade only
