Clayton Second semester 2005 (Day)
Synopsis: Introduction to the principles of tides, estuarine flows, waves, fluid mixing, dilution of wastes, plume motions. Planning and conducting a field data collection exercise: scientific plan, calibrations, equipment, logistics, data analysis and modelling, reporting.
Assessment: Written: 50% + Fieldwork: 50%
