Synopsis: Numerical methods applied to engineering-type problems including: curve-fitting, root-finding, numerical integration, solution of ordinary differential equations, solution of partial differential equations. Also includes software management risks and safety.
Assessment: Examination (2 hours): 70% + Assignments: 30%
