Synopsis: Students will work closely with an academic staff member assisted by a company staff member. They will be guided through the processes of - proposal preparation; data collection and analysis; project implementation; business planning and project reporting.

Objectives: At the completion of the unit the students will be able to apply knowledge, concepts, tools and techniques acquired in other units to the: preparation of proposal for the conduct of a business related project; conduct of a business related project; analysis and reporting of findings and framing of recommendations.

Assessment: Report (10,000 words) 100%.

Contact Hours: 24 hours per week including 2 x 3 hour lectures

Prerequisites: Completion of MBA core units
