Synopsis: This unit offers the opportunity to study in depth a particular topic in Italian culture, society or linguistics and, more especially, to combine Italian studies with suitably advanced work in related disciplines. Students are advised to consult with members of staff to ascertain if adequate supervision in the proposed area of study is available.

Assessment: Two essays (5000 words) + 4 minor assignments (4000 words): 100%
