Clayton Second semester 2005 (Day)
Synopsis: Topics covered include introduction to object-oriented programming and design. Software development. Control structures, encapsulation, inheritance and polymorphism. Visual tools for creating Graphical User Interfaces. Building Windows applications. Working with intrinsic controls and Active-X Controls. Multiple forms, dialogs, debugging and executables. Menus. Data controls. Common dialogs and general procedures. Drag and drop events and complex code structures. Creating Active-X controls and distributing applications. Development of Windows applications to meet requirements of engineering and service sectors.
Assessment: Examination (3 hours): 50% + Assignments: 50%
Contact Hours: 22 lecture hours, 22 laboratory hours
