Synopsis: This subject is designed to give students an understanding of the theory of organisations and to develop supervisory/management skills. Topics include management functions of planning and organising work, supervising, leadership, controlling, motivation, counselling skills, self-improvement, job satisfaction, training and development, group and organisational behaviour, introduction to industrial relations and other relevant topics.
Assessment: Examination: 60% + Assignments: 40%
