Synopsis: This unit will explore the techniques required for multimedia application development. Students will learn how to manipulate media components using tools and programming, further understanding of implications of media formats, multimedia security issues, multimedia project planning and design issues, system requirements for multimedia applications and multimedia authoring. User friendly software will be used to demonstrate development of multimedia applications.
