Synopsis: Sampling designs and inference; confidence limits and tests on means, proportion, differences. Cross tabulation, with chi square, components of chi square and lambda. Simple and multiple linear regression: regression with non-linear terms; regression with dummy variables. Introduction to analysis of variance and experimentation. Uses Excel.

Assessment: Two tests: 20%. One assignment:15%. Examination (2 hours): 65%
