Synopsis: Review of fundamental networking technologies; circuit-switching vs packet-switching. Delay models for telecommunication networks, queueing theory. Congestion and traffic management. Routing algorithms for telecommunication networks, internet routing. Quality of service architectures in IP networks. Network simulation.
