Clayton First semester 2005 (Day)
Synopsis: Introduction to the theory, hardware, software and applications associated with medical imaging technology, including x-ray, fluoroscopic imaging, ultrasound, computed tomography, digital radiography, magnetic resonance imaging and positron emission tomography. Safety and protection issues. Medical image storage and retrieval.
Assessment: Examination (3 hours): 70% + Laboratory and assignment work: 30%
