Synopsis: Advanced topics in microeconomics and current research and policy issues. Topics may include an in-depth study of general equilibrium, mesoeconomics, new classical economics of specialisation, transaction costs, and inframarginal analysis, principal agent models and incentive regulation.
Assessment: Class assignment: 20% + Presentation: 20% + Examination or research paper: 60%
