Independent Theatre Practice ( 6 points, SCA Band 1, 0.125 EFTSL)

Synopsis: This unit will provide students who intend to develop a career as a theatre worker, performer or teacher with appropriate kinds of experience in the community and the theatre industry. Through off-campus placements students will have the opportunity to focus on their particular areas of interest in a professional context.

Assessment: Journal (2500 words): 50% + Essay (2000 words): 50%

Contact Hours: 2 hours of supervision per week

Prerequisites: Completion of minor sequence in Drama and Theatre Studies
