Synopsis: This unit provides students with information on the roles of the neuropsychologist within the health setting, the psychological tests used by neuropsychologists, and the process of rehabilitation for those with neuropsychological impairment.

Objectives: On completion of the course students should: 1. have an understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the brain and be able to apply this knowledge to understanding brain behaviour relationships; 2. have acquired expertise using a hypothesis testing approach for basic neuropsychological assessment and diagnosis and be able to apply this knowledge to a variety of populations.
