Synopsis: Australian telecommunication policies. Roles of ACA and the carriers. Corporate telecommunications strategies. Network project planning, implementation and operation. Financial planning overview: budgets, DCF techniques. Network management tools and protocols.

Assessment: Examination (2 hours): 40% + Written assignments: (3 at 20% each): 60%
