Synopsis: The unit provides motivation for the use of object-oriented middleware for mobile computing. The unit also considers architectures and tools of use to mobile computing, such as Web-Services.

Assessment: Examination (3 hours): 50% + Practical Work: 50%

Contact Hours: 4 hours per week

Prerequisites: CPE1004 or equivalent.

Corequisites: CPE2001.
