Objectives: On successful completion of this unit, students should be able to demonstrate: 1. The skills for designing and implementing a research project in the communications discipline 2. The ability to critically evaluate a body of literature relevant to their research topic 3. Advanced academic writing, research and time management skills 4. Highly developed skills in analysis and argument 5. An understanding of the issues, debates and concepts pertaining to their research topic.
