Synopsis: Each student will be required to select a project from a number of topics offered. The project outcomes are to be summarised in a major report, a technical paper and in a brief oral presentation. Enrolment in this subject is by departmental approval only.

Assessment: Practical work: 100% (written project proposal, preliminary and final reports on practical work, seminar presentation)

Contact Hours: 12 hours per week

Prerequisites: CIV4210 and credit-weighted average of at least 65%
