Clayton First semester 2005 (Day)
Synopsis: Fundamentals of heterogeneous catalysis; diffusion and reaction in porous catalysts; tubular catalytic reactors; examples of important catalytic reactors such as steam reforming, ammonia synthesis, methanol synthesis; introduction to gas-liquid reactions.
Assessment: Examinations: 90% + Assignments: 10%
Contact Hours: 2 lectures and 2 practice classes per week
