Synopsis: Equations of state for real gases. Mass and Energy balances on non-reactive multicomponent and multiphase systems. Systematic Procedures for solving steady-state mass and energy balances. Transient mass and energy balances. Case studies to use process simulation package to solve complex mass and energy balances.

Assessment: Examination: 60% + Tests: 40%
