Synopsis: Mass balance conservation for steady-state operations of process plants and equipment involving phase change, reaction, recycle and purge. Mass and energy balance computation procedures. Use of process simulation package to solve simple mass and energy balances.

Assessment: Examination: 60% + Tests: 40%

Contact Hours: 2 lectures and 2 practice classes per week
