Clayton Second semester 2005 (Day)
Synopsis: This unit requires students to complete an original supervised research paper on a bioethical topic of their own choice. In the paper, students are required to articulate and defend a line of ethical reasoning or argument on their chosen topic. While not a general requirement, some topics may allow scope for a limited amount of original empirical research. Students will be allocated a supervisor on the basis of their research proposal, and should meet with their supervisor on a regular basis throughout the semester.
Assessment: Research paper (9000 words): 100%
Prerequisites: CHB4101, CHB4102, and CHB4203, or equivalents
