Synopsis: Legal implications of staff management decisions; individual employer-employee relationship; contract of employment; termination law including unfair dismissals; health and safety law in the workplace; vicarious liability agreements; awards and industrial action; constitutional considerations and discrimination law.

Assessment: Assignment (3500 words): 40% + Examination (3 hour, open book): 60%
