Synopsis: Students submit an essay on an advanced topic in biology that is distinct from the topic of the BIO4100/GEN4100 research project. In addition, they will attend lectures and complete practice exercises in Advanced Data Analysis. Candidates may commence the honours year at the beginning of either first or second semester. Further information is available from the course coordinator and at a meeting held with prospective students during second semester of third year.
Assessment: Essay: 50% + Lectures and exercises in Advanced Data Analysis: 50%
Prerequisites: BIO3011 or by permission of the Head of School
