Synopsis: The provision and use of management accounting information for managment planning and control in organisations. Topics include budgeting, standard costing and variance analysis, cost management, decentralisation, performance evaluation, transfer pricing and capital expenditure analysis.
Assessment: Written assignment: 10% + Group presentation: 10% + Tutorial participation: 10% + Examination (3 hours): 70%
