This course is designed for teachers, educational administrators, and other health and human resource professionals who wish to continue postgraduate studies in special education and to further assist them in understanding of the processes of teaching and learning in both settings.
To be eligible for admission to the course, applicants must hold either:
The course consists of 48 credit points of study. Students will complete the following three core 12-point units plus one elective:
* EDF6001 is
an introductory research methods unit designed to prepare students to make
decisions about the design and development of their future research thesis
studies.
** EDF6003 is designed to introduce students to a range of
searching tools and using the research of others. It focuses on literature
searching and reviewing processes and is directly related to student workplace
issues. It is designed to prepare students for the professional project.

Candidates who successfully complete the Postgraduate Diploma of Education
(Inclusive and Special Education) may complete a masters degree by undertaking
