Course description

This course is designed to meet the needs of practitioners in industrial relations and of human resources managers who wish to gain a qualification in this field. The course aims to assist managers and professionals people who seek to make the transition to employment in the field of industrial and employee relations. (a) Students must complete two core units (12 credit points):

(b) Students must complete two elective units (12 credit points) from the list set out in the details for the Master of Industrial and Employee Relations. Students may also select units from those offered by the Department of Management with the approval of the course coordinator.
Students who successfully complete the Graduate Certificate in Industrial and Employee Relations may apply for admission to the Graduate Diploma in Industrial and Employee Relations or Master of Industrial and Employee Relations and would be eligible for advanced standing for four units.
